Cupcake Update - new flavors, new designs, always yum.

The following maple-bacon cupcakes were for a birthday man: a beer drinking, motorcycle riding, Duck football loving kind of man. 

Fundraiser cupcakes: chocolate peanut butter and raspberry lemonade

These are turning out to be my best-selling flavors, but on this particular occasion, I handed them out for free. The event was a fundraiser auction to benefit a young mother battling cancer.

The fundraiser was very successful! Some participants walked away with gift certificates to Jana Fitch Cakes, along with many other great items. I felt honored to be able to contribute.

I love the way these cupcake wrappers turned out! I used a fresh mix of colors and adorable patterns. FYI, this is exactly six dozen cupcakes - and they all got gobbled up :)

Six inch "cutting cake" for a wedding where lots of cupcakes were served. Lemon poppyseed with fresh raspberry puree, vanilla buttercream and fondant. Decorated with ribbon and real feathers.

Does it get any more beautiful than this? Romantic, simple, perfect.

I had a hard time leaving this cake at the wedding! As I walked out of the reception hall, I had to turn around to get one last look.

All three tiers are white velvet cake, layered with three refreshing varieties of fruit fillings: strawberry on the bottom, blueberry/strawberry/blackberry in the middle, and raspberry on top. It is frosted in vanilla buttercream, with piped on pearl borders, and accentuated with mauve colored handmade sugar roses.

This three-tier wedding cake consists of 10", 8",  and 6" rounds and serves about 75 of your lucky guests.
