Morgan and Cody's Wedding

Beautiful!!! Love their color scheme: coral, fuchsia, grey, and silver. Their event was the perfect combination of glamorous and rustic. The bride provided many of the serving pieces for the dessert table - I love how it all came together! Even the white picket fence turned out to be the perfect backdrop. The wedding cake is vanilla bean cake and buttercream, with fondant and piped royal icing details. The cupcakes are chocolate with salted caramel buttercream, and vanilla bean.

Rolling out my new LOGO!!!

…as well as a beautiful batch of mini chocolate cupcakes! There are two dozen with salted caramel and one dozen adorned with peanut butter frosting. I also made the awesome purple inserts for the cupcake box, since the regular ones don't work for mini cupcakes (you knew that). Love that extra pop of color!

I finally designed this logo myself, after months (years?) of pondering, stalling, considering, etc. I hope you like it! It certainly brings a big smile to my face. My hope is that the logo expresses everything my business is about: fun, pretty, modern, simple, excellent quality cakes (and don't forget the paper goods!).

Exciting news!

Secondly, I'm happy to announce that I will be exhibiting at the Fall 2014 Inspire! Bridal Tour. Brides, google it for more info! It's the perfect way to check out vendors and venues. The tour is put on by Unforgettable Service. It involves champagne, limos, and delicious free samples, need I say more?

Danielle + Michael's wedding at Sweet Cheeks Winery

This very loooong display of sweets includes red velvet cupcakes with vanilla bean buttermilk frosting, chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel frosting (plus extra drizzled on top), and strawberry shortcakes in mason jars. The wedding cake is red velvet filled with white chocolate custard and shavings, frosted with vanilla bean buttercream and covered in luscious buttercream fondant. It is decorated with a handmade fondant rose and real lace.

Note the custom stickers on the shortcake jars - they have the bride and groom's names and wedding date. These are great because they can also be taken home as a favor…in case anybody forgot to save room for dessert. Never a problem for me, I assure you! ;)

Sweet display for a networking event with Engaging Eugene

These are my orange vanilla bean (aka orange creamsicle) cupcakes with cute patterned wrappers and a few toppers, too. Engaging Eugene is an open group for Eugene area wedding professionals to get together and support each other. I'm so glad I went. Please do ask me for referrals to other vendors, such as photographers, floral designers, videographers, et cetera!

Colorful Cupcakes

These little cuties are strawberry lemonade flavor cake, with strawberry and lemon frosting. The smell of them was just heavenly, but the taste was even better. Pure summertime. Let's just say I did a lot of quality control sampling on this batch!

 The pink and purple frosting are strawberry.

And the orange and blue frosting are lemon.

Wedding menu and new tags!

I made a wedding menu for the first time today! In case you didn't already know, I offer custom made paper goods to coordinate with your event. Cake banners, menus, labels, tags, cupcake wrappers, you name it! And my prices are much more reasonable than what you'll find on Etsy or with printing companies. Please accept my apologies that there is no delicious cake in this photo! ;)
